Dalam buku Soal Jawab Ibadat haji, Umrah dan Ziarah yang dikeluarkan oleh Ahli-Ahli Jawatankuasa Penasihat Ibadat Haji (YH-JAKIM) pada tahun 2017 dalam muka surat 69 menyebut: “Memakai ubat gigi, minyak-minyak ubat dan sabun mandi hukumnya adalah harus walaupun jika ada berbau wangi kerana penggunaannya bukan kerana berwangi-wangi (تطيب) begitu juga sabun mandi jika digunakan semata-mata dengan maksud membersih (تنظيف) adalah harus.”

Berdasarkan fakta dan keterangan di atas, kami cenderung kepada pendapat bahawa penggunaan sabun wangi semasa ihram adalah diharuskan dengan alasan dan syarat berikut:

Wangian yang ada di dalam sabun itu bukanlah tujuan penggunaan sabun, sebaliknya hanyalah pengikut sahaja. Kaedah fiqh menyebut:

يُغْتَفَرُ فِي التَّوَابِعِ مَا لَا يُغْتَفَرُ فِي غَيْرِهَ

Maksudnya: “Dimaafkan pada perkara-perkara yang mengikut apa yang tidak dimaafkan pada selainnya.”

As of this, we decided to maintain our usual detox cleanser which has a slight hint of natural sage leaf scent ( not perfume ) to mask the strong scents of coconut oil and glycerin for the benefits of optimum cleansing. While the scent is barely faint, it definitely disappears after rinse and doesnt linger which means it is permissible.This cleanser can also be used as a top to toe wash during Ihram , and it will fall under the category of cleansing.

How To Use

1. Splash your face with water (make sure your hands are clean)
2. Squeeze a small amount of cleanser onto your palms.
3. Massage the cleanser onto your face in a circular motion for 60 seconds, while ensuring that all the areas of your face is covered.
4. Rinse thoroughly and follow with the rest of your skincare routine while your skin is still damp.
